What UI Finds collects, which is not much, and which services see it.

Nothing here is sold, and nothing is passed to data brokers. What the site collects is below.

Browsing the directory

You can read the whole catalog without an account. Saved and hidden resources stay in your browser only. They are not uploaded, and clearing site data removes them.

Analytics

A deployment may enable Google Analytics. When it is on, Google loads a script, sets its own cookies, and receives the page you are on, the referrer, an approximate location, your device and browser, and a random id that links visits on this site. It is never sent your name or email. Advertising features that follow you elsewhere are not turned on. You can stop it with Google's opt-out add-on or any blocker that stops the script.

The newsletter

Subscribing sends your email address to Resend, which stores it and sends the emails. It is used for the newsletter and nothing else. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes the address.

Accounts

Admin and publisher accounts sign in with a magic link emailed to you. The site stores your name, email address and a cookie that keeps you signed in. Google sign-in is optional and only runs if it is configured for this deployment.

Submissions

If you submit a resource, the site keeps what you wrote and the address you gave so the listing can be reviewed. Your email address is not published on the site.

Payments and ads

Catalog listings are free. Paid sponsorship is not open yet. If payments are added later, card details will go to Stripe and never touch this site's servers.

Links out

Resource pages link to the original creators. Those sites have their own privacy practices. See the about page for how listings are selected.

Who else handles it

  • Vercel — hosting. Server logs, including IP addresses, kept briefly.
  • Cloudflare — the network in front of the site, and storage for images when used.
  • Resend — newsletter and sign-in emails when configured.
  • Google Analytics — only when a measurement ID is configured.
  • Google — sign-in, and only if you choose it and it is configured.

Each one gets only what its job needs. Nothing is sold or passed to data brokers.
